Signing in, and what we ask for

You can use Fyreflock without an account at all. If you choose to keep one, we ask for a single thing: an email address, either by sending a six-digit code to it or through Sign in with Google.

If you sign in with Google we request two scopes and no others: openid and email. That gives us your email address and a stable account identifier, and nothing else. We do not request or receive your contacts, calendar, files, photos or profile details, and we cannot read anything in your Google account.

The address is used to sign you back in on another device and to reach you about your own account. It is never shown to other people on Fyreflock, never sold, and never handed to advertisers. Full detail is in the privacy policy below.
