About Fyreflock

Fyreflock is a place to talk to one stranger at a time, on video or on text, with a game to play while you do it. No coins, no gifts, no room of people watching. Find your Flock.

Who builds it

One developer, with a few friends helping. There is no office and no company floor: it is built from India, on a laptop, and every email you send lands with the person who wrote the code you are writing about.

That is worth knowing before you write in, because it sets your expectations honestly. Reports get looked at quickly because there is no queue to sit in. Feature requests can take a while, for exactly the same reason.

Why it exists

Random chat has a bad name and has mostly earned it: bots, recycled video, cameras nobody agreed to be on, and a business model built on getting lonely people to spend. Fyreflock is an attempt at the same idea without any of that. Every match is a real person who passed a live camera check. Nothing is sold by the coin. Conversations go phone to phone and are not ours to read.

The games are the part people are surprised by. Small talk runs out a few minutes into meeting a stranger; a board between you does not, and it gives two people something to be bad at together.

What we will not do

No nudity or sexual content, anywhere, with no setting that changes it. No selling your data, no advertising trackers. No coins, no gifts, and no pass that buys immunity from the House Rules. These sit in the Terms as binding rules rather than promises, which is the difference that matters.
